On this episode of the Future Construct Podcast (30 min interview), we spotlight Joanna Popper (@JoannaPopper), Global Head of Virtual Reality for Location-Based Entertainment at HP (@hp) as she joins Amy Peck (@VirtualGirlNY) to discuss her role leading HP's Go-to-Market strategy, why she's excited about HP's newest VR headsets the Reverb G2 and Reverb Omnicept, the amazing features of these new headsets and the accompanying software platforms, solutions for the AEC industry and use cases from some of her enterprise clients, and how she transitioned from a marketing career to the VR space.

Joanna has been selected as “50 Women That Can Change the World in Media and Entertainment, “101 Women Leading the VR Industry” and is on the Coalition for the Women in XR Fund.

Before joining HP, Joanna was an Executive Producer in various different documentary film projects and the Executive Vice President of Media and Marketing at Singularity University, where she was responsible for brand growth, product marketing, public relations, communications, digital/social media, and video content creation and production. Prior to these roles, she spent 12 years in senior level marketing roles at NBCUniversal and DHL.
