The Public Safety building is a component of the Bonair Siding redevelopment area. The new building will consolidate all public safety functions under one roof in a facility that is specifically designed to accommodate the essential service functions of a Public Safety facility. Programs include Office and administrative spaces, Departmental Operations Center, officer briefing rooms, booking and evidence storage facilities, locker rooms, equipment shop, and other public safety-related functions.

The architecture of the Public Safety building adheres to the Main Campus Design guidelines. The base of the primary wing will be a buff-colored concrete with charcoal/bronze metal siding and aluminum window systems that complement the surrounding context. The copper-red hipped standing seam metal roof sets the tone for future development envisioned along Bonair Siding Road. A central plaza anchors the building entrance and serves as a gathering and communal hub for the neighborhood. The service yard security fencing and metal siding on the auxiliary structures will quietly buffer the public safety equipment and vehicles.
