UMKC - School of Computing and Engineering in Kansas City, MO, set to open in Fall 2020, will be home to the new Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise and Research Center. BIM Designs, Inc. completed the Annotated and Dimensioned Shop Drawings and Installation Drawings for Fixtures for the Plumbing System.

The 57,800-square-foot research center will be located next to Flarsheim Hall as an addition to the School of Computing and Engineering. The first floor will have an ISO 6 and 7 Cleanroom, an important space that will enable the expansion of bio-medical collaboration with the health and sciences campus. It will also help develop technologies in areas such as early breast cancer detection and many other health-related biodevices, biomaterials and procedures.

Chad Bristow, interim director of planning, design and construction at UMKC, mentions that the new building will "serve as an iconic campus gateway to the heart of UMKC’s Volker campus."

The mission statement of Rodrigues Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is to "provide superior plumbing services through perseverance, dedication, professionalism, customer satisfaction, and community involvement, while being recognized as a leader in the construction services industry."
