The Morongo Casino Resort and Spa is owned by the Morongo Band of Cahuilla Mission Native American Indians.

BIM Designs was responsible for completing the full 3D Modeling, Detailing, Trade Coordination, Shop Drawings, Spools and Trimble Point Layout for the Plumbing System. The expansion and renovation project increased the Resort's gaming floor, refurbished and replaced numerous restaurants, and improved its free valet parking services. In January 2020, the final touches were placed on the extensive renovation project.

Richard St. Jean, Morongo’s chief operating officer, said of the renovations, “From table games to slots to our new restaurants and bars, we are excited to be fully operational. More importantly, the redesign is proving to be a hit as our guests tell us they absolutely love our new look.”

Elements of the expansion include:

  • Development of a 65,000-square-foot expansion, which increased the gaming floor by approximately 30% to accommodate approximately 800 more slots and table games
  • Renovation and replacement of several restaurants
  • Construction of a free, 750-space valet parking structure
  • Renovation and reactivation of the original Morongo Casino – previously operating as the Morongo Bingo Hall -- to house 300 machines displaced by the construction
