How many years of field work did you have before becoming a detailer?
I was in the field for 5 years before I started detailing.
How many years have you been detailing?
I've been detailing for 20 years.
What type of field work have you performed?
When I was in the field, I installed piping and tubing from 1/4" stainless steel to 24' carbon steel.
What was your last company and how long where you there?
I worked with University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, an EMCOR company, for over a year.
What are other job roles you have performed in the past?
My past roles include becoming a jobber in 1994. I entered the apprenticeship in 1995. I was running the shipping and receiving yard for a year before I started working in the field. I turned out in 2000 as foreman, and was over a detailing crew at Intel for 2 years. I have detailed hospitals, data centers, and nuclear power plants.
What passion, energy or excitement do you bring into the workplace with you?
I love problem-solving and working through issues that come, along the way. I enjoy working together as a team.
I like traveling and going to the movies. I like watching Formula One racing; and one day, I would like to see a race.
